Getaway Series: Sedona, Arizona

It’s that time again folks! You voted and we heard you! Our Getaway Series turns west to the beautiful state of Arizona! Our next adventure will take you to Sedona, Arizona, famous for its red sandstone formations. Nestled in the Coconino National Forest, this area draws thousands of nature lovers, hikers, and outdoorsmen each year. Sedona has etched itself in cinematic history as it has hosted over sixty film productions over the decades!

If you are a Jeep owner there is another incentive to Sedona! The Schnebly Hill Trail, part of Jeep’s Badge of Honor program! Once you complete the trail, Jeep will mail you a cool badge that can be mounted on your Jeep! The area has plenty of off-road opportunities that Jeeps (and Toyotas) can enjoy!

Our Getaway dates are January 17, 2025, to January 19, 2025! Don’t wait, secure your spot now!

How does it work?

Lodging: Based on the number of participants, we find comfortable and spacious lodging (usually an AirBnB property) and the cost is split evenly among everyone attending.

Food: Bought at the local mom and pop store (we support local) and cooked by our members.

Itinerary: January 17 will be our travel day, can either leave in groups or individually. We will meet at the property and end the evening with some drinks and food. January 18 is our wheeling event; we will kick the day off with some breakfast and hit the trails, we wrap up the day with some dinner either at a local restaurant/bar or at the property. January 19 will be the return day.

Cost: Cost varies depending on the amount of participants that commit to the event and include lodging, food, and fuel.

Deadline: The sooner the better! This allows us to find suitable accommodations and plan accordingly. Don’t wait till the last minute and end up sleeping on a cot! Plenty of time to secure your spot! Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to wheel with us in new and memorable locations! We’ll see you out there!

Ruta Tecolote 2

Tecolote Canyon is situated just outside the village of Tularosa, New Mexico. We’re well acquainted with its narrow canyons and winding riverbeds, and it calls us back! If you joined us last time, then you too are familiar with Coyote Canyon Rd. However, this time we turn our attention to a new trail just South which is has its share of obstacles lying in wait. This trail is fed by a handful of springs and is also subject to flash floods that race down the Sacramento Mountains. Expect soft dirt, mud, water, boulders, and eroded canyon walls. October couldn’t be a better month, cool temperatures, and faster nightfall awaits. Grab your gear and strap in, folks.

Tecolote Canyon calls us back…

We were overwhelmed with your messages! You asked, and we deliver! It’s time to outdo our last event and tackle on Tecolote Canyon! Let’s shoot for fifty (50) participants!
